    Description

Orthoscan FD Flat Detector Mini C-Arm System For Sale

Available refurbished Orthoscan HD Flat Detector Mini C-Arm machine for sale or rent.

    EXCEPTIONAL IMAGE QUALITY:

The OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector is the new standard in mini c-arm imaging. Fine details of relevant anatomy are visible due to the increased gray scale and contrast capability of flat detector technology. The OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector reduces the distortion inherent with image intensifier technology, improving diagnostic accuracy.

    OPTIMIZED FORM FACTOR:

The OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector opens valuable space in the work area. The small, thin design affords maximum maneuverability, resulting in ease of movement. A greater arc depth of 19.2″ provides the surgeon with space to work more comfortably. The slim profile of the flat detector provides additional positioning options for better patient access.

    SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT:

OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector Mini C‑Arm is half the size and 28% lighter than the competition. The smaller size facilitates ease of movement and improves maneuverability. We are putting control back in the surgeon’s hands and making a difference in the experience for every user.

    LARGEST & MOST DETAILED IMAGES:

OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector brings the surgery closer to you. The superior display size of the image allows for more precise evaluation of images taken and enables users to analyze fine details of the image at a distance. The “live” image is 38% larger than our competition’s largest image. Just like viewing a big screen TV from across a living room, it is easier to see a larger image at a distance.

The resolution of the OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector enables the highest quality of imaging detection through superior gray scale and exceptional clarity. The improved diagnostic quality provides the ability to detect hairline fractures that may have been overlooked.

    BETTER DOSE UTILIZATION:

The OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector makes more efficient use of the available x-rays which translates to a better image quality for a given dose. Through a high absorption detection path, there is less waste of x-rays. The increased information improves detail and resolution.

    ENHANCED RELIABILITY:

The OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector introduces fewer components, leading to less probability of failure. The self adjusting image reader is auto-calibrating and eliminates the need for a camera. Unlike image intensifiers, flat detectors do not have antiquated vacuum seals which cause image degradation over time.

    ADJUSTMENT FREE IMAGING:

OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector automatically adjusts to metal, motion, and varying anatomy. The accurate adjustments of the OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector Mini C‑Arm allow the operator to use less fluoro time (less dose) and accurately view anatomy. It allows the surgeon to focus on the patient rather than equipment.

    INTUITIVE AND EASY TO USE:

OrthoScan HD with Flat Detector has a simple interface that allows the user to perform basic imaging with little, if any, preparation. The custom keyboard allows single key access to most functions. The features are accessible, intuitive, and – for the most part – automatic.

    SURGEON DRIVEN DESIGN:

The team at OrthoScan spent countless hours in extremity procedures over the last 10 years gathering surgeon feedback and developing a plan to build the optimal mini c‑arm. The attention to detail from our doctor advisors and customers has resulted in a product that sets new standards in mini c‑arm imaging.

    HOW FLAT DETECTORS WORK:

Digital devices are smaller and more robust. Just as digital technologies have dramatically improved home audio and video fidelity, digital X-ray technology offers significant improvement in image quality and dose utilization. Standard fluoroscopy is still primarily based on analog technology, specifically, the image intensifier. Flat detectors have emerged as the next generation of digital X-ray technology.

Current image intensifier based imaging has many stages in the signal conversion chain. These stages result in geometric distortion and brightness non-uniformity across the diameter of the image. In comparison, flat panels have a direct, short signal conversion path, with essentially no optics. The result is a flat, uniform image from edge to edge.

    IMAGE QUALITY:

    • Resolution capability range: 2k x 1.5k
    • Frames per second range: 30
    • Viewing area: 167 cm2 (versus 165 cm2 II)
    • Lack of geometric distortion
    • Uniform response across the field of view
    • No vignetting / veiling glare
    • More x-ray information in the image
    • Increased grayscale

    RELIABILITY:

    • Solid state detector is more reliable than glass tube II
    • No antiquated vacuum sealed II – no image degradation over time
    • No power supply for receptor – reduced power draw
    • No camera – auto-calibrating, self-adjusting image reader
    • Fewer components – less chance of part failure
    • Service life of a typical flat detector is significantly longer than an II

    REDUCED SIZE:

    • Small, thin design
    • Improved maneuverability in the workspace
    • Improved accessibility for imaging knees and feet
    • Increased arc depth – 19.2”
    • Same SID – 14” FDA limit

    EMR IMAGE LINK:

Enables EMR connectivity with the OrthoScan HD. OrthoScan is the only mini c‑arm capable of automatically transferring images to your EMR system. (US customers only)

    DICOM 3.0 COMPLIANT:

    • DICOM Store: Sends images to a PACS server
    • DICOM Modality Worklist: Imports patient information from a hospital/radiology information system
    • DICOM Print: Sends images to a DICOM networked printer
    • DICOM Video: Sends video to a PACS server

    DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER:

The OrthoScan HD internal digital video recorder stores motion at an industry-leading 30 frames per second at full resolution. The system can store up to 90 minutes of video at full resolution.

    VIDEO OUT:

The OrthoScan HD has industry standard DVI/VGA outputs compatible with your projection equipment.

    WIRELESS COMMUNICATION:

The OrthoScan HD Flat can be equipped with an encrypted wireless 802.11 a/b/g communication system, enabling a secure communication with your HIPAA compliant records system.

    PRINTERS:

The OrthoScan HD Flat can be equipped with two types of printers:

    • Small Format: 3.5″ x 3.5″ print on thermal paper
    • Large Format: 5″ x 7″ print on thermal paper or blue film (Upgrade)

    INTERNAL IMAGE STORAGE:

OrthoScan HD stores 8,000 images on the unit.

    USB MEMORY STICK:

The USB memory stick can hold up to 1,000 images per gigabyte. The images are stored in a convenient folder with the patient’s name in both a DICOM and JPEG format. JPEG images can be viewed on any standard computer.
